DOGGY DAYCARE
Fun and Safe Dog Daycare
in Garden City, Kansas
An off-leash, group-play daycare where dogs can sniff, bark, play, and have fun while developing their social skills. Our daycare is an outlet for excess energy, mental stimulation, physical exercise, and socialization. Each pup’s experience is individualized… we carefully group doggies by size, temperament, and play style. Some doggies play better in an active group, others like a more laid-back approach, or crave cuddles and attention from our amazing staff.
Dog Days Resort staff are Doggy CPR Certified, trained through the International Boarding and Pet Services Association (IBPSA). The IBPSA sets industry-best practices and standards in Doggy Body Language, Canine Behavior, and Canine Psychology, which leads to high-quality care and a safe play environment.
Full Day: $27/Day

What days of the week is Daycare available?
We offer Doggy Daycare services Monday – Friday only.
What vaccinations does my dog need to have?
Rabies, Distemper/parvo, and Bordetella.
Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?
All dogs over 12 months must be fixed to participate in daycare. This is for the safety of all dogs in our care, which is our #1 priority at all times. If a dog under a year old is having behavioral issues, we do have the right to pull them out of daycare. Guests boarding overnight with us may be unfixed, as they will have an individual play yard to themselves.
What should I bring? (food ,toys, blanket, etc.)
Food: We recommend you bring food from home to keep them on the same diet, we don’t want any upset tummies! We offer a premium, digestion-friendly option at no extra charge, though we believe it’s best to keep your dog on their usual diet.
Treats: We give small training treats to our guests throughout the day at no additional cost. If you’d like your pup to enjoy something special from home, please pack the treats in a labeled bag with clear instructions (e.g., “Give 1 treat before bed”). Please note: No rawhides, bones, or anything that could pose a risk to your dog while unsupervised.
Collars/Leads: You don’t need to bring collars or leads as we don’t allow dogs to wear them while playing for safety reasons. Just bring a lead for drop-off and pick-up!
Sleeping Items (Blankets/Beds): To ensure a clean and safe space, we ask that you don’t bring any bedding from home. We provide premium Kuranda beds or comfort pads depending on the accommodation, and our pups love them! Please do not bring anything fabric into our facility. (And kindly, no pressuring staff to make exceptions!)
Toys: Feel free to bring up to three toys, but for safety reasons, they must be rubber or plastic (think Kong toys, rubber balls, etc.). Rope toys and rawhides are strongly discouraged. Please pack everything in a closed bag. (P.S. We can’t be responsible for any damage to toys caused by your pet.)
Medication: If your dog is on any prescription medication, it must be in its original packaging from the vet with clear dosage instructions. We can only administer pills or edible prescriptions and are unable to give medication outside our regular business hours. This service is included at no extra charge for all guests!
Do you separate dogs by size?
Yes. We have all the large guests in one area and we have our small/medium guests in a separate area.
What do the the dogs do all day?
Most of the day is filled with fun at Dog Days Resort… playing, making new friends, exercise, meal time, naps, and receiving plenty of belly rubs! Your pup can enjoy our spacious outdoor play areas, as well as our climate-controlled indoor spaces, all under the careful supervision of our dedicated staff. Our team is certified in pet first aid and CPR, ensuring a safe environment.
What happens during the initial visit?
At Dog Days Resort, we prioritize the safety of all our guests during the evaluation process for doggy daycare. While dogs are naturally social animals, some may need extra time to adjust to a larger group setting. Our trained staff conducts thorough evaluations, introducing your dog to calm, pre-approved daycare guests one at a time to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. These evaluations typically last several hours, allowing us to gauge your dog’s readiness for group play. At pickup, we’ll discuss the results and next steps, so you can feel confident about your dog’s experience. We recommend bringing your dog in right at opening on evaluation day to give them the best chance to acclimate to the facility before meeting others.
